Top 20 Calypsoes of 2014 Announced
Every year hundreds of musical works are released in the musical sub-genres of calypso. Annually, of these works, only twenty are adjudicated as being the best by the Top 20 Panel of Judges. The National Action Cultural Committee wishes to announce the Top 20 calypsoes for 2014. The calypsoes, listed in alphabetical order, are as follows:

The NACC will present the singers of the Top 20 calypsoes with their awards at its 27th annual ‘Top 20 Stars of Gold and Calypso of the Year Award Ceremony’. The Ceremony will take place at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya on Thursday 11th December, 2014. NACC announces Order of Appearance for Young Kings finalists

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) wishes to announce the order of appearance for the 2016 National Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition, which will be held on Monday 25th January at Queen's Park Savannah, POS from 7:30pm. The Young Kings competition is the nation's second longest running national calypso competition. This year, twenty-one artistes will be competing for the prestigious crown, in the show's 32nd national finals. The order of appearance is as follows.

Duane Ta’zyah O’Connor and Kerine 'Tiny' Williams Win 2016 Emancipation Competition Crowns

DUANE TA'ZYAH O'CONNOR   is the winner of the first prize in the 5-17 age group of the Emancipation Calypso Competition hosted on Tuesday 26 th July, 2016, by the National Action Cultural Committee in association with First Citizens and the National Youth Action Committee, at City Hall, Knox Street, Port-of-Spain.
