Young Kings Calypso Competition - Challenge Edition Results

  The National Action Cultural Committee, in association with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts and the National Lotteries Control Board, is pleased to inform the public that the first three places in the Young Kings Challenge Competition are:  1st) Ezekiel Yorke  2nd) Gary Thomasos (M'ba) 3rd) Heaven Charles (Snakey) These three calypsonians will automatically qualify for the finals of the next Young Kings Calypso Competition, All other finalists will receive consolation prizes. 31st October 2021

FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 25th ANNUAL EMANCIPATION CALYPSO COMPETITION

                    The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) and the National Youth Action Committee are pleased to present the finalists of the 25 th Annual Emancipation competition. These 25 years of the Emancipation Calypso Competition represent a major contribution to the instilling of in the population, a greater appreciation for Emancipation Day. It has also provided a platform for youth development in the art form of calypso, as well as encouraged them to research the relevance of Emancipation to our development as a people. We wish to thank all those who shared our vision and participated in various ways to assist in making these achievements possible.
