National Calypso Queen Competition 2015

Ife Alleyne is the new National Calypso Queen. She won the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC) on Monday night (19^th January), at Queen's Hall, with a selection entitled "Child of Liberty".

The results are as follows:

1^st place - Ife Alleyne - Child of Liberty

2^nd place - Allison Bernard - Time to Arise

3^rd place - Kerine Williams - How Much

4^th place - Stacey Sobers - Special Day

5^th place - Natasha Nurse - A Farmer's Plight

The Young King Calypso Monarch Competition was hosted on Monday night (2 nd February) by the National Action Cultural Committee at the Grand Stand, Queen's Park Savannah.
