National Calypso Queen Competition 2015

NEWS RELEASE


Ife Alleyne is the new National Calypso Queen. She won the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC) on Monday night (19th January), at Queen's Hall, with a selection entitled "Child of Liberty".
The results are as follows:

1st place - Ife Alleyne - Child of Liberty

2nd place - Allison Bernard - Time to Arise

3rd place - Kerine Williams - How Much

4th place - Stacey Sobers - Special Day

5th place - Natasha Nurse - A Farmer's Plight

6th place   - Meguella Simon - Ah Cyar Breathe

6th place - Wendy Garrick - Not One Drop

8th place - Roslyn Reid - Make the Right Choice

9th place - Tammico Moore (Spicey) - D' Advice

10th place - Makeda Darius - Start Now

2016 Stars of Tomorrow finalists announced

 The National Youth Action Committee (NYAC) is pleased to announce the twenty (20) finalists for the 2016 Stars of Tomorrow Calypso Competition, which will be held on Saturday 9 th January, 2016, at Daaga Hall, UWI, St. Augustine.
