Duane Ta’zyah O’Connor and Kerine 'Tiny' Williams Win 2016 Emancipation Competition Crowns




DUANE TA'ZYAH O'CONNOR is the winner of the first prize in the 5-17 age group of the Emancipation Calypso Competition hosted on Tuesday 26th July, 2016, by the National Action Cultural Committee in association with First Citizens and the National Youth Action Committee, at City Hall, Knox Street, Port-of-Spain. KERINE 'TINY' WILLIAMS is the winner of the 18 – 35 age grouping.
 The full list of placings of artistes with respective calypsoes are given below.

 The National Youth Action Committee (NYAC) is pleased to announce the twenty (20) finalists for the 2016 Stars of Tomorrow Calypso Competition, which will be held on Saturday 9 th January, 2016, at Daaga Hall, UWI, St. Augustine. National Calypso Queen Competition 2015

She won the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC) on Monday night (19 th January), at Queen's Hall, with a selection entitled " Child of Liberty ".
