The NYAC hosts the Stars of Tomorrow Prize Giving Ceremony 2014

      The National Youth Action Committee will host the prize giving ceremony for the 2014 Stars of Tomorrow Calypso competition on Sunday 26th July 2014 at NACC Offices, 40 Duke Street, Port-of-Spain.
The ceremony is carded to begin at 4:00 PM. Guests will also be treated to a repeat of the performances of the winners in this year's competition. A number of personalities from within the cultural fraternity are expected to be in attendance.

RESULTS FOR STARS OF TOMORROW 2014

Nyol Manswell is the 2014 Star of Tomorrow. Manswell won the Stars of Tomorrow Calypso Competition hosted by the National Youth Action Committee on Wednesday (5th February), at the Learning Resource Centre, UWI, St. Augustine.

The placings and selections rendered are as follows:

FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 25th ANNUAL EMANCIPATION CALYPSO COMPETITION

                    The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) and the National Youth Action Committee are pleased to present the finalists of the 25 th Annual Emancipation competition. These 25 years of the Emancipation Calypso Competition represent a major contribution to the instilling of in the population, a greater appreciation for Emancipation Day. It has also provided a platform for youth development in the art form of calypso, as well as encouraged them to research the relevance of Emancipation to our development as a people. NACC announces Order of Appearance for Young Kings finalists

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) wishes to announce the order of appearance for the 2016 National Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition, which will be held on Monday 25th January at Queen's Park Savannah, POS from 7:30pm. The Young Kings competition is the nation's second longest running national calypso competition. This year, twenty-one artistes will be competing for the prestigious crown, in the show's 32nd national finals. The order of appearance is as follows.
