Results of the 2014 Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition

Bevon St. Clair is the 2014 Young King Calypso Monarch. St. Clair won the compettion with a calypso entitled “Another Flambeau”. The Young King Calypso Monarch Competition was hosted last night (Monday 17^th February) by the National Action Cultural Committee at the National Academy for the performing Arts (NAPA).

The results are as follows:

1^st place – Bevon St. Clair – Another Flambeau

2^nd place – Nyol Manswell – A Better World

3^rd place – Heaven Charles (Snakey) – The Dhoti Song

4^th place – Alpha John (AJ) – Mr. Scottish

5^th place – Dillon Thomas – Bun De Grass

6^th place – Ravi Bissambhar (Ravi B) – Till Next Carnival

7^th place –Kyle Cowie (KC) – My Will Be Done

8^th place – Gay Thomasos (M’BA) – Break They Neck

9^th place – Niklas Gosine – Snakes

10^th place – Allan Welch – Soil Technician

National Calypso Queen Competition 2015

NEWS RELEASE Ife Alleyne is the new National Calypso Queen. She won the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC) on Monday night (19 th January), at Queen's Hall, with a selection entitled " Child of Liberty ".
