Audition Dates for 2014 Young Kings, Queens and Stars of Tomorrow

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC), and its sister organisations the National Women’s Action Committee (NWAC) and the National Youth Action Committee (NYAC) are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the following calypso competitions :

· Young King Calypso Monarch Competition,

· Calypso Queen Competition

· Stars of Tomorrow (19½-32½ yrs)

· Juniors | Pathfinders (13½-19½ yrs)

· Calypso Jewels (10½-13½ yrs)

· Calypso Pioneers (5-10½yrs)

Registration will take place from 9.00 am daily at NACC’s Offices, 40 Duke Street, POS.

Auditions for the Young King Calypso Monarch Competition, Calypso Queen Competition and Stars of Tomorrow will take place on Saturday 18^th January and Sunday 19^th January 2014.

2015 Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition Results

NEWS RELEASE Arnold Jordan is the 2015 Young King Calypso Monarch. The Young King Calypso Monarch Competition was hosted on Monday night (2 nd February) by the National Action Cultural Committee at the Grand Stand, Queen's Park Savannah. The National Youth Action Committee (NYAC) is pleased to announce the twenty (20) finalists for the 2016 Stars of Tomorrow Calypso Competition, which will be held on Saturday 9 th January, 2016, at Daaga Hall, UWI, St. Augustine. National Calypso Queen Competition 2015

NEWS RELEASE Ife Alleyne is the new National Calypso Queen. She won the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC) on Monday night (19 th January), at Queen's Hall, with a selection entitled " Child of Liberty ".
