The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) are pleased to announce the Top 40 Calypsoes for 2013. From these calypsoes a panel of judges will select the Top 20 Calypsoes of 2013 which will be awarded at the 26th Annual 'Top 20' Calypso Stars of Gold and Calypso of the Year Awards on Saturday 11th January 2014 at the Ballroom, Cascadia Hotel, St Anns, Port of Spain.

The 'Top 20' Awards are awards of distinction and represent the pinnacle of achievement for excellence in calypso composition and our system of adjudication seeks to tap our collective wisdom in order to establish national consensus about the essence of truly great calypsoes.

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) wishes to announce the order of appearance for the 2016 National Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition, which will be held on Monday 25th January at Queen's Park Savannah, POS from 7:30pm. The Young Kings competition is the nation's second longest running national calypso competition. The Young King Calypso Monarch Competition  was hosted  on Monday night  (2 nd   February) by the National Action Cultural Committee at the Grand Stand, Queen's Park Savannah. Duane Ta’zyah O’Connor and Kerine 'Tiny' Williams Win 2016 Emancipation Competition Crowns

DUANE TA'ZYAH O'CONNOR   is the winner of the first prize in the 5-17 age group of the Emancipation Calypso Competition hosted on Tuesday 26 th July, 2016, by the National Action Cultural Committee in association with First Citizens and the National Youth Action Committee, at City Hall, Knox Street, Port-of-Spain.
