The National Action Cultural Committee is pleased to announce the selections for the ‘Top Twenty Stars of Gold Awards,’ based on the decisions of the selected panel of forty judges These awards are for the twenty most outstanding calypsoes of 2011.

The 24th Annual “Top 20” Stars of Gold and Calypso of the Year Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday 7th January 2012, at the National Academy for the Performing Arts,(NAPA) Upper Frederick Street, Port of Spain.

The “Top 20” are awards of distinction and represent the pinnacle of achievement for excellence in calypso composition and the system of adjudication seeks to tap Trinidad & Tobago’s collective wisdom in order to establish national consensus about the essence of truly great calypsoes.

FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 25th ANNUAL EMANCIPATION CALYPSO COMPETITION

                    The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) and the National Youth Action Committee are pleased to present the finalists of the 25 th Annual Emancipation competition. These 25 years of the Emancipation Calypso Competition represent a major contribution to the instilling of in the population, a greater appreciation for Emancipation Day. It has also provided a platform for youth development in the art form of calypso, as well as encouraged them to research the relevance of Emancipation to our development as a people. We wish to thank all those who shared our vision and participated in various ways to assist in making these achievements possible. NACC announces Order of Appearance for Young Kings finalists

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) wishes to announce the order of appearance for the 2016 National Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition, which will be held on Monday 25th January at Queen's Park Savannah, POS from 7:30pm. The Young Kings competition is the nation's second longest running national calypso competition. This year, twenty-one artistes will be competing for the prestigious crown, in the show's 32nd national finals. The order of appearance is as follows.
