Benjai is the 2011 Young Kings Calypso Monarch. The Young Kings Calypso
Monarch Competition  was hosted last night (Monday 21st February) by the National Action Cultural Committee at the Lord Kitchener Auditorium, NAPA.
The results are as follows:

1st place – Benjai – Trini
2nd place – Sekon Alves – How Long
3rd place – Olatunji – Drum Spirits
4th place – Ninja – No Respect for Culture
5th place – Stephen Marcelle – Melody of Hope


6th place – Duane O’Connor – Join Dem
7th place – Dee Diamond – Eyes on the Hill
8th place – Sheldon Nugget – Then We Shall Rise
9th place – Mr King – Not My Johnny
10th place – Tobago Chalkie – Follow Dem Prints
10th place – Chucky – The Letter

FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 25th ANNUAL EMANCIPATION CALYPSO COMPETITION

                    The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) and the National Youth Action Committee are pleased to present the finalists of the 25 th Annual Emancipation competition. These 25 years of the Emancipation Calypso Competition represent a major contribution to the instilling of in the population, a greater appreciation for Emancipation Day. It has also provided a platform for youth development in the art form of calypso, as well as encouraged them to research the relevance of Emancipation to our development as a people. We wish to thank all those who shared our vision and participated in various ways to assist in making these achievements possible. NACC announces Order of Appearance for Young Kings finalists

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) wishes to announce the order of appearance for the 2016 National Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition, which will be held on Monday 25th January at Queen's Park Savannah, POS from 7:30pm. The Young Kings competition is the nation's second longest running national calypso competition. This year, twenty-one artistes will be competing for the prestigious crown, in the show's 32nd national finals. The order of appearance is as follows.
