Order Of Appearance For The Annual Emancipation Calypso & Drumming Competitions

ORDER OF APPEARANCE FOR THE ANNUAL EMANCIPATION CALYPSO & DRUMMING COMPETITIONS
The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) and the National Youth Action Committee (NYAC) in association with First Citizens is pleased to announce the order of appearance for the finalists of the 2019 Emancipation Calypso & Drumming Competitions – From Emancipation to Independence. The show takes place tomorrow (Friday 30thAugust 2019) at the SWWTU Auditorium, Wrightson Road, from 7:30pm. There are two categories in the Calypso competition: the first for artistes under 17 years old; and the second for artistes between 17 and 25 years old. The Emancipation Drumming Competition is the first such competition to ever be hosted by the organizing bodies. The order of appearances for the various competitions, are as follows.

Results of the 2014 Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition

Bevon St. Clair is the 2014 Young King Calypso Monarch. St. Clair won the compettion with a calypso entitled “ Another Flambeau ”. The Young King Calypso Monarch Competition   was hosted last night (Monday 17 th February) by the National Action Cultural Committee at the National Academy for the performing Arts (NAPA). December 1, 2015 News Release Auditions' dates for Young Kings, National Calypso Queens and Stars of Tomorrow Competitions Announced The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) and the National Women Action Committee (NWAC) will host the auditions for the ' Young Kings Calypso Monarch' and the 'National Calypso Queen' Competitions, from 11.00 am on Saturday 12 th December 2015 and Sunday 13th December, 2015.
