Ife Alleyne is the new Star of Tomorrow. Alleyne won the Stars of Tomorrow Calypso Competition hosted by the National Youth Action Committee yesterday (Sunday 11th January), at Daaga Hall, UWI, St. Augustine.

The placings and selections rendered are as follows:

1^st place – Ife Alleyne -– A Child of Liberty

2^nd place – Arnold Jordan - This Is My Life

3^rd place – Helon Francis - Stalwart

4^th place – Jhevon Jackson - Kaiso Baby

5^th place –Ezekiel Yorke - Equality

2015 Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition Results

The Young King Calypso Monarch Competition was hosted on Monday night (2 nd February) by the National Action Cultural Committee at the Grand Stand, Queen's Park Savannah. National Calypso Queen Competition 2015

She won the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC) on Monday night (19 th January), at Queen's Hall, with a selection entitled " Child of Liberty ". DATES OF EVENTS HOSTED BY NACC & NWAC FOR CARNIVAL 2017

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) is pleased to announce that registration for auditions are now open for the Carnival competitions hosted by the organisation and its sister institution the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC). The events include the Young Kings Competition hosted by the NACC; and the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the NWAC . The NACC also wishes to announce the dates for the auditions and finals of these competitions and other Carnival events which will be hosted by the organisation and its affiliate institutions (see schedule below). Of special note is the event, Veterans Honours List, which presents many Calypso and Soca classics performed by the veterans who sang them.
