Results of Tobago legs of Young Kings and Juniors-Pathfinders Calypso Competitions

The finals of the Tobago Young Kings Calypso Competition and the Tobago Calypso Juniors-Pathfinders competition (ages 14-19) hosted by the Tobago Cultural Committee (TCC) were held Saturday (February 15^th ) at the Mason Hall Secondary School, Tobago. Rowmilia Nedd won the Tobago Calypso Juniors-Pathfinders competition while Dillon Thomas was awarded the crown as the 2014 Tobago Young King.

National Calypso Queen Competition 2015

NEWS RELEASE Ife Alleyne is the new National Calypso Queen. She won the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC) on Monday night (19 th January), at Queen's Hall, with a selection entitled " Child of Liberty ". DATES OF EVENTS HOSTED BY NACC & NWAC FOR CARNIVAL 2017

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) is pleased to announce that registration for auditions are now open for the Carnival competitions hosted by the organisation and its sister institution the National Women's Action Committee (NWAC). The events include the Young Kings Competition hosted by the NACC; and the National Calypso Queen Competition hosted by the NWAC . The NACC also wishes to announce the dates for the auditions and finals of these competitions and other Carnival events which will be hosted by the organisation and its affiliate institutions (see schedule below). Of special note is the event, Veterans Honours List, which presents many Calypso and Soca classics performed by the veterans who sang them.
