Timel Rivas was the winner of the first prize in the 5-18 age group of the Emancipation Calypso Competition hosted yesterday (Friday 29th July) by the National Action Cultural Committee in association with First Citizens and the National Youth Action Committee, at the SWWTU Hall, Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain. Caston Cupid was the winner of the 19 – 32 age grouping.
Fireball was the winner of the extempo competition, with Nkosi Anyika placing second. Third place was Phil Browne and fourth place Sarah Cobbler. The results of the competitions, are as follows:
5-18 age group
