The People’s Calypsonian, Bro. Valentino, is the 2011 Veterans Calypso Monarch. Bro. Valentino was adjudged winner of the Veterans Calypso Monarch Competition hosted by the National Action Cultural Committee, last night (Monday 28th) at the SWWTU Hall, Wrightson Road. Port-of-Spain.
The results are as follows:

1st place – Bro. Valentino – Glory Days; Life Is A Stage
2nd place – Organiser – They Have It Easy; Trinbago Yankee
3rd place – Funny – D Best Thing; Funny Win
4th place – Contender – Retirement; Yuh Cyar Buy One
5th place – Power – Island in the Sun; Trinidad Culture
6th place – Bro. Mudada – For Yuh Country; No Use
7th place – Singing Francine – Nothing But the Truth; It’s A Shame
8th place – Versatile – World In Crisis; Shadow Reloaded
9th place – Explainer – My Advice; Tables Turning Sah
10th place – Poser – Is Not That; Sometime

Audition Dates for the 2016 National Calypso Queen, Young Kings and Stars of Tomorrow Competitions

December 1, 2015 News Release Auditions' dates for Young Kings, National Calypso Queens and Stars of Tomorrow Competitions Announced The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) and the National Women Action Committee (NWAC) will host the auditions for the ' Young Kings Calypso Monarch' and the 'National Calypso Queen' Competitions, from 11.00 am on Saturday 12 th December 2015 and Sunday 13th December, 2015.

NACC announces Order of Appearance for Young Kings finalists

The National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) wishes to announce the order of appearance for the 2016 National Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition, which will be held on Monday 25th January at Queen's Park Savannah, POS from 7:30pm. The Young Kings competition is the nation's second longest running national calypso competition. This year, twenty-one artistes will be competing for the prestigious crown, in the show's 32nd national finals. The order of appearance is as follows.
