ANEKA COLLINS is the winner of the first prize in the 5-17 age group of the Emancipation Calypso Competition hosted on Friday 12 th September by the National Action Cultural Committee in association with First Citizens and the National Youth Action Committee, at the SWWTU Hall,   Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain. SASHA ANN MOSES was the winner of the 18 – 35 age grouping. 5-17 age group

Monday, September 11, 2014 News Release              The National Action Cultural Committee and the National Youth Action Committee is pleased to announce the order of appearance for the finalists of the 2014 Emancipation Calypso Competition . This national youth calypso competition is produced annually by the committees and will be held at 7:30 pm , on Friday 12th February, 2014 , at the SWWTU Hall , Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain. There are two categories in this competition: the first for artistes 5 to 17 years old and the second for artistes between 18 and 35 years old.
